Our Founder and Managing Director, Elva Koh
Elva is the key strategist and mission driver for G Daily Supply Sdn. Bhd. She brings positive, creative, innovative mind thinking and a working lifestyle to nurture the company culture and her young team. She established the company without much knowledge in the seafood industry but with a persistent determination of learning.
As a Vocational Training Officer certified by the Department of Skills Development (an agency under the Ministry of Human Resources), she consistently provides complimentary training for salmon fish processing and handling. She strives to position G Daily Supply Sdn. Bhd. as the benchmark practitioner in salmon fish handling in the country and neighboring regions.
Elva is a forward-looking entrepreneur who possesses strong courage of flying against the wind. The wave of changes in the business world is developing so fast and her company and business are confronted with different challenges especially the sudden outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. These changes take place so fast, but with bravery and courage, Elva responded with immediate restorative solutions, and turn crises into opportunities.
When her 30 metric tons of Salmon container had been seized at the port during the MCO in March 2020, the pressure was immense but little did she know that it was actually a big opportunity in the midst of crisis. Collaborated with renown local celebrity in Singapore Wang Lei, she took only 3 days to deliver more than 10,000 customer orders through online broadcasting, and eventually clear the stock of the entire container.
In 2020, Elva initiated and built Samonyu Glass House, a restaurant built on a hill in Negeri Sembilan, archived the 'MALAYSIA BOOK OF RECORD' challenge as fastest glass house built up, despite many limitations such as narrow path, tight spaces that prevents heavy machinery to be used which hinders the efficiency and steep slopes to make the job even tougher.
Elva priorities her team and promotes harmonious working ambiance. G Daily Supply Sdn. Bhd. corporate office was renovated with contemporary design to provide inspiring working environment to cultivate delightful energy for work efficiency.
